Julien Baker

Julien Baker, a native of Memphis who began playing music as a child, rose to worldwide attention in 2015 with her debut album, “Sprained Ankle.” Her intense and immersive live shows have garnered acclaim, with The New Yorker describing them as “hushed, reverential.” Baker’s subsequent releases, including her 2021 solo album “Little Oblivions,” have cemented her status as a leading singer/songwriter of her generation. She reunited with boygenius in 2023, winning three Grammy Awards and performing at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl. Baker has collaborated with many notable artists (The National, Paramore, Frightened Rabbit) and recently composed the theme song for AMC television show “Orphan Black: Echoes.”
