Kyle Dion is as transcendent as his artistry. Effortlessly weaving in and out of sounds of R&B, soul, pop, and beyond, the Florida native stands out as one of the most dynamic voices of his generation, keeping great music alive and evolving. Known for his smooth falsetto, captivating stage presence, and fearless genre-blending, Dion continues to redefine modern R&B while staying rooted in timeless musicality.
Following a year-long break from releases, Dion made a bold return in 2024 with the If My Jeans Could Talk EP, a project that reintroduced fans to his refined vocal artistry and storytelling. In 2025, he has kept the momentum strong with back-to-back singles, including Tears On A Pretty Face and Astro Afterglow, the latter of which dropped on Valentine’s Day—continuing his tradition of special releases around the holiday. The sensual, groove-driven track is a glimpse into his forthcoming project, teasing a deeper dive into themes of connection, passion, and self-assured confidence.
With past collaborations including Kali Uchis (Your Teeth in My Neck), UMI and DUCKWRTH (Play Too Much), Kari Faux (Purr), and Ja Rule (Placebo), Dion has proven his versatility and ability to create across genres. His boundary-pushing artistry also led him to be selected as one of five emerging artists for The Concept A.I.bum, an experimental project spearheaded by BACARDÍ and Boi-1da in 2023.
As he gears up for his next body of work, Kyle Dion continues to carve his own lane—seamlessly blending nostalgia with forward-thinking creativity, proving that great music is as limitless as the artist behind it.
Koko Love, a prominent figure in Montreal’s alternative music scene, is bringing his highly anticipated debut
album The Cost of Freedom to life with an exclusive solo performance. This special show offers fans a rare,
intimate first listen to his new sound and artistic vision.
Koko Love’s journey began within the vibrant tunnels of the Montreal metro, where he and his college friend Soran
unearthed a newfound passion—enthralling passersby with their music throughout the entire city. The metro became
their playground, and busking their favorite game. It was through this avenue that Koko’s affection for music
blossomed, forging genuine connections with an audience. These modest beginnings served as the cornerstone for
both of their musical careers, ultimately igniting Koko Love’s passion for authentic human connection to radiate
through his music, setting him apart from the conventional mainstream.
After a few years of creating music under the alias “Miko” the artist’s creative path took an intriguing turn as he
immersed himself in transcendental meditation and ventured into the world of psychedelics. While undergoing a
vipassana retreat, these experiences led to several profound spiritual awakenings that not only enriched his life but
also ignited a transformation in his artistic expression. This transformation ultimately gave rise to the artist we now
recognize as Koko Love. While Koko Love undoubtedly symbolizes the advent of a new era, it’s crucial to also
reflect on the path that guided him to this transformative juncture.
Starting his journey in Montreal as a French Canadian, Koko Love’s artistic path was strongly influenced by his
cultural background. Recognizing his French roots as a unique canvas, Koko seized the opportunity to cultivate a
bilingual prowess, thereby refining his English language skills. This decision led him to join an English-speaking
college. This experience not only improved Koko’s ability to express himself in English but also provided him with a
new passion for songwriting as he simultaneously embraced the language. This exploration of a new language
expanded his artistic horizons significantly. The ability to fluently switch between french and english offered him a
captivating advantage as an artist. When performing in English, he effortlessly immersed himself in a different
character, leveraging his inherent accent and the nuances of language to his artistic benefit.
As fate would have it, Koko Love shares his birthday with John Lennon, a revered musical icon he profoundly
admires. Stepping into the footsteps of his predecessor, Koko’s artistic journey assumed a fresh significance,
enriched with the essence of a spiritual quest and the unwavering determination to forge genuine human
connections. His story is a compelling artistic saga that embodies the spirit of a warrior for humanity, a seeker of
spiritual truths, and a true testament to the enduring potency of authentic artistry in the face of ever-shifting trends.
