Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons have always been like family – they played together as babies. However it wasn’t until December of 2024 that the two actually played together, musically, for the first time in what was supposed to be a one-off instagram reel. They were shocked by the immediate response, and the undeniable chemistry. In February of 2025, they tried writing together for the first time and Stanley Simmons was born. They recognized they had stumbled on something magical and set out to make the kind of record they had each always wanted to make, but never had the chance to. Having grown up together on the road with their fathers, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, music was always a part of their lives. But the thought of collaborating with each other professionally just never crossed their minds until this last year. After hearing the first demo they recorded in their respective bedrooms, legendary producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Dave Matthews, etc.) immediately threw his weight behind the band and jumped at the chance to produce the debut full length record as well as manage the duo. Now, with a full length complete and set for release on August 28th, Stanley Simmons is preparing for their first North American tour this fall.
