Eli Waltz

Eli Waltz is a world traveler and American folk musician who focuses the sum of his experiences on the road into a sound reminiscent of a different time. His music draws from the musical traditions of American Blues, Folk, “rock ‘n’ roll” and Chinese guqin music; his lyrics are inspired by the poets of the Beat Generation.

He is heralded for his philosophical lyricism, unconventional chord progressions and hard-hitting harmonica solos. He weaves in traditional Chinese music–inspired by months and years living in Beijing and Yunnan as a working musician–and even classical music to create his signature folk sound.

He is part of a new wave of up-and-coming American Blues and Folk artists.

Laura Tsaggaris

Laura Tsaggaris (sah-GAIR-iss) is a singer-songwriter, session vocalist, guitarist, and entertainer of 25 years. She has published 6 albums of original music, toured the country as a solo artist, and performed and recorded with Grammy-winning peers. Laura performs solo and with a band of 5-8 pieces.

“When a singer-songwriter builds an array of songs, often arising from a solid pop foundation with a splash of blues, a touch of rock and a hint of soul, that affirms a genuine musical gift.” — The Washington Post

Laura is a fellow of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (2018-2024). Her latest record, “Get In The Mood,” has spawned a yearly run of December shows and is the soundtrack for DC’s holiday traditions. Laura writes music for TV and film under the name Efrose, with recordings slated for 2024 release.
