Conall Cafferty––a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Montclair, NJ now rooted in Nashville––pairs a self-taught, blues-bred guitar style and distinctive vocal tone with the sharp lyricism he honed during a stint at Belmont’s songwriting program and a brief turn on American Idol. His songs fuse porch-born intimacy with the kind of hooks that can fill a room, reflecting influences that range from B.B. King to Damien Rice while never losing their raw, first-take authenticity. Recent co-writes with Steph Jones, Jackson Lee Morgan, Gabe Goodman, Jonas Conner, and Jack Schrepferman show Conall carving a lane where indie-twinged Americana feels both deeply personal and ready for the biggest stages.
