Ravyn Lenae emerged in the latter half of the 2010s with a trio of EPs that explored a dynamic range of sounds, from house to synth-funk. Her 2018 EP Crush, led by the breakout single “Sticky,” marked a major turning point in her career. In 2022, she released her critically acclaimed debut album, HYPNOS, via Atlantic Records, with production from Steve Lacy, Monte Booker, and Kaytranada. Her sophomore album, Bird’s Eye, arrived in August 2024, executive produced by GRAMMY winner Dahi. Rooted in reflections on home, the project showcases Lenae at a more confident and assured state than ever. Bird’s Eye earned widespread praise from NPR, Pitchfork, and Rolling Stone and was named one of Billboard’s Top 10 R&B albums of the year. The year also saw Lenae take the stage for high-profile TV performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
